LaRon Louis James is a well-known American rap artist, musician, record producer, and actor who goes by the stage name Juelz Santana. Juelz Santana is most known for being a member of the hip hop group “The Diplomats,” which formed in 199In 1999, Santana joined Cam’ron, Jim Jones, and Freekey Zekey, and has been with them ever since.
After signing a record contract with “Def Jam Recordings” and “Roc-A-Fella Records,” established by Jay-Z, “The Diplomats” started production on their first album a few years later. In 2003, “Diplomatic Immunity” was released and reached #8 on the Billboard 200 list. It sold 92,000 copies in its first week and earned a Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. However, the group was forced to quit both companies owing to a feud between Cam’ron and Jay-Z, and instead signed with Koch Records. “The Diplomats” then released their second studio album, “Diplomatic Immunity 2,” but they soon went on hiatus due to a dispute among the band members. In 2010, “The Diplomats” reformed and are presently working on new projects.
